Accolades for MAN and NEOPLAN buses in Russia
At COMTRANS 2011, the international show for commercial vehicles in Moscow, the NEOPLAN Cityliner was voted Bus of the Year in the "The Best Commercial Vehicle of the Year in Russia" contest: twelve journalists from Russia's leading commercial-vehicle media make up the jury for this award.

The Way People Travel – MAN Truck & Bus full of the excitement of the Busworld fair
MAN and NEOPLAN are presenting their product highlights at the Busworld in Kortrijk
Under the motto "The Way People Travel", MAN Truck & Bus is presenting innovations from its two bus brands, MAN and NEOPLAN, at the Busworld exhibition in Kortrijk, Belgium (October 21 through 26). The 1,600 square metre stand invites interested visitors to experience the highlights of the fair and consult with experts on everything in connection with products and services.
New stage for the Skyliner on the NEOPLAN brand website Giving a foretaste of the Skyliner sales launch, with effect from September 1 the brand website ww w .NEOPLAN-BUS.com has a completely reworked product information area. The Skyliner product experience is the eye catcher here with its virtual 3-D panoramic tour.

Nine winners' rostrum spots for MAN
Readers of ETM publications give MAN Bus & Truck four winners in "Best Commercial Vehicles of 2011".
- NEOPLAN Starliner wins in high-deck touring coach class
- MAN Lion's Regio victorious in class for intercity buses
- MAN TGS takes prize for tippers up to 32 tonnes
- MAN TGL no.1 in transporters / trucks up to 7.5 tonnes
For the 15th time in succession, readers of "lastauto omnibus", "trans aktuell" and "FERNFAHRER" were called on to choose their best commercial vehicles from more than 170 series. All major delivery vehicles, transporters, trucks and buses on the German market were represented.
Almost 8,000 readers of the three trade magazines cast their ballots, awarding MAN Truck & Bus an excellent result.

MAN Nutzfahrzeuge launches comprehensive investment programme for the Plauen plant – company and employees all pulling together
In the next three years MAN Nutzfahrzeuge will be investing some 19 million euros in the modernisation of bus production at its Plauen plant. The plans include a new main assembly hall with particular focus on ergonomic work-places, construction of a new and extremely environmentally friendly paintshop, a global competence centre for new painting and bonding technologies in bus construction and expansion of the logistics sector. Beside this a Customer Center is envisaged where customers can in future clarify orders and collect their new NEOPLAN buses.

The new NEOPLAN Skyliner – an unmatched standard of travel
At the IAA in 2010, NEOPLAN will continue the over forty year long success story of the double-decker coach when it previews the new Skyliner.
