Stability for maximum safety and high travelling pleasure
Active safety in action: The Electronic Stability Program ESP supports your driver during braking and evasion manoeuvres. ESP regulates braking selectively and individually - on all wheels as well as at the engine output.
You therefore minimise the risk of skidding in limit areas.
The electronically controlled ride system CDS is also a real multitalent. It adapts itself optimally to the speed, nature of the road and vehicle load.
Comfort Drive Suspension increases the travelling pleasure for your passengers. The system gives reliable and stable drivability to your driver.
Intelligent systems give protection over the entire route
As the gentleman among the coaches, the Starliner automatically keeps its distance to the vehicle in front. The Adaptive Cruise Control uses a radar sensor to register the traffic in front of your Starliner.
When the distance is reduced to a level below that for traffic safety, the retarder or service brakes very discretely intervene and make sure there is sufficient distance to the vehicle in front - fully automatically.
Should it nevertheless be necessary for the driver to initiate an emergency stop, the integrated brake assistant identifies this straight away and immediately builds up the maximum possible brake pressure.
The on-board diagnosis system in conjunction with TEPS® (Twin Electric Platform System) permanently monitors the operating status. In the event of a fault TEPS® warns your driver and therefore prevents expensive secondary damage.
Lane stability through an electronic eye
The lane monitoring system LGS uses a precision camera to orient itself to the lane markings. Whenever the Starliner drives out of the lane, the lane guard system informs your driver of this.
This notification is made in a discrete way, typical for NEOPLAN, by a vibration in the driver's seat.
All-round caution in the true sense of the word: the clear glass headlights with bi-xenon lights fitted as standard equipment provide additional cornering lights that really shine around the corner.
The Starliner therefore illuminates curves over a wide-area. Your driver recognises the path ahead and immediately sees potential obstacles even during journeys at night.
